2FA (Two-factor authentication) is a fantastic way to ensure that your Hnry account is safe. This article walks through how to set up 2FA in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Navigate to 2FA in Settings
Once you have signed into your Hnry account, click on My account > Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication
Step 2: Toggle on 2FA
Turn on the 'Authenticator app (recommended)' toggle, you will then be prompted to input your password.
Step 3: Scan your unique QR code
Use your Authenticator app to scan your unique QR code or input the code shown on the screen, then click next.
*If you don't currently have an Authenticator, go to the app store to download an Authenticator app on your phone. For example, Google Authenticator on iOS or Android.
Step 4: Verify your identity with your unique 6-digit code on login
You will now see your Hnry account within your Authenticator app and a changing 6 digit code. Within the allocated time, input your 6 digit code into the Hnry app and click 'verify'.
You have now successfully set up 2FA for your Hnry account! 🎉
