There are two ways to close your account with Hnry:
1. If you have not been paid through your Hnry account:

Go to the navigation bar on the left of your Dashboard, and select the drop down 'Your account' and then 'Settings'
There you will see the close account option below your self-employed work type.
You will be prompted to select a reason for the account closure from a list in a drop down section. Once selected, you will be able to click on the 'Close Account' button.
Once this is done, your Hnry account will be fully voided.
2. If you have been paid through your Hnry account:
You can close your account via the Hnry Team
You can close your account via the Hnry Team
Once you have received a payment through your Hnry account, we act as your Registered Tax Agent and are required to follow certain steps to ensure that you account is closed properly.
To start this process please contact us:
Sign in to the Hnry app (if you haven’t already)
Select Help from the Hnry app menu
Send us a message requesting to close your account with the reason for closing it.
A member of the Hnry team will then reach out and let you know the next steps.
