Congratulations on getting your Hnry Card set up!
Follow these simple steps to add your new card to your Apple Wallet and enjoy the convenience of using it with Apple Pay. You will need your iPhone.
Step 1: Get your card details
Click 'Reveal' on the Hnry Card Dashboard Module.
You will then be asked to verify your identity using your preferred verification method (either email or Authenticator App).
Most of your card details will then be shown in your app.
You will notice that some of the card information will not be visible. The hidden information, like some of the card number and CVV are instead sent to you via SMS, to ensure the security of your card details.
Once you have received the missing details via SMS you will have your full card information.
Step 2: Follow the steps to add a new card to your Apple Wallet
Search for, and open the 'Wallet' app on your iPhone.
Click on the '+' in the top right hand side of the app. Select 'Debit or Credit Card', and click 'continue' through the information screen.
You will then be prompted with a screen to scan your card, however, as we only currently offer a virtual card, you will need to select the 'Or enter details manually' option at the bottom of the screen.
Enter your 16 digit card number that you got in step 1. In the example shown below the full card number would be 1234 5601 0203 7891. Then hit 'next.'
Fill in the expiry date (MM/YY), And then the 3 digit security code (CVV).
Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
Step 3: Verify your card
You will then be presented with two options to verify your Hnry card for Apple Pay. Where possible, go with the recommended method to receive a text message, and hit 'next.'
You will then receive a verification code via SMS to input.
You'll get a success screen and you can then decide how your Hnry card is used.
For example, this could be as a default card, or to add it to an Apple Watch.
It may take an hour before this becomes available, so if it doesn't work immediately grab a hot drink & try again later!
Step 4: Happy spending!
You will then receive a confirmation text message, and Apple notification. You will see your Hnry card in your Apple Wallet.
If you haven't already done so, top up your Hnry card, and you're ready to go. Next time you're in a store, you can simply open your Hnry card in your Apple Wallet, double-click & pay.
